The Chef

So, it was around 3am when both Tom and I thought we were hungry and in need of some food, so where else better to go when in a foreign country than to 7-11. Tom, in his slightly drunken state, decided to go behind the counter and help himself. The girls just didn't know what to do. Well, who would!

7-11 Girls

These girls didn't really know what was going on, they were game on though. Its not every night that you meet a complete lunatic from England who wants to take over the place.

Valerie & Angelique

Two of the prettiest bar gals around. You can see why I loved going to the pub!

This is Doume, the owner of my local beer supply shop in Megeve, The Wake Up.

Karaoke Boys

Karaoke is massive all over South East Asia. As you can see me and Grahame are getting into the swing of things, look at us go.

Mum & Dad!!!

My Mum & Dad on a recent trip out to Thailand! They really like to go native!

Beer Anyone!

Well, this is most probably my favourite passtime, giving other people beer so that I don't need to drink it! Look at me go.

Tuk Tuk

This is the only way to travel. It's the famous Tuk Tuk. You can see them all over Thailand but in Bangkok they are everywhere. They run on the good old 2 stroke engine, and they'd be completely illegal anywhere else.

The Hog

My little bike, it's great. I love getting out and around Thailand on it. Sore on the old back side though, good job mines made of Rhino hide!

Road Trip

So good to get on the bikes and just go anywhere. This was on a trip down south out of Hua Hin. Rained pretty much the whole way down, but thats all part of the adventure.

School Bus

A bunch of happy kids on their way to school along the jungle road in Ranong.

Water Falls

On the drive back through the jungle from Ranong to Chumpon you come accross these beautiful water falls. I've done the journey by bus, not recommended, car, great and on a motorbike, fabulous.

Chickens feet

It's not as bad as it looks, bit crunchy, but tasty none the less.

Bug Stall

Bugs anyone?! Instead of getting a packet of pork scratchings or crisps, over in Thailand we just get a bag of bugs.

Proof of the pudding is in the...............

Whats that in my mouth? Tasty, very very tasty. I tell ya, every time I go out in Bankers I'll get myself a bag of bugs, I luv em.

WANTED

Monkey business!

Dad, Dao & Mum

My Mum & Dad, don't they look great. This is on their way out of bangkok with a friend of mine, Dao.

Bath Time

Wherever you live in this world you have to make your own fun, especialy youngsters living in South East Asia. Can you imagine this scene on the banks of the Thames! I was gonna jump in but the bridge had a weight limit!
I'm not too sure if this guy understood the concept of riding a motor bike, I like his thinking though!
Time for a quick beer before catching the ferry over to Ko Phi Phi. This is Grant.

"Fire Man"

Hope this is clear enough to see properly. These shows are put on every night in some of the beach bars. They're really entertaining. I reckon that if I had a go I could set the place alight within seconds!

The Beach

This was where the film The Beach was filmed. Bit touristy for my liking. On this particular day I think I counted around 40 other boats.

Phi Phi

This is the little bungalow type place I stayed in on the Island. It wasn't cheap, around £25 a night, but the view was well worth it. The dodgy fella walking around the side is Grahame, coming round to rob me most probably!

Phi Phi

This was the first view I saw every day when I opened my front door, what a gorgeous sight.

Phi Phi

This is the sight that'll greet you when you first arrive on the pier in Phi Phi. Those palm trees are all new, the Tsunami hit the Island from both sides, a double wamy, and just ripped the place apart. Things are being rebuilt quickly though and the tourists are definitely coming back.

Phi Phi

How beautiful is this. The water is so clear, the diving is awesome.

This was taken on a recent trip to Ko Phi Phi. Myself and John, on the right, met up with a good friend of mine, Shane, and his girlfriend Jai, quite by coincidence.

Reclining Budha

This is the famous reclining Budha, the largest in the world. It's covered with gold leaf and the souls of the feet are made of mother of pearl.

"Grandad"

There are statues like this one all over Thailand, especialy in the temples and palaces. When the silk boats were returning from China these statues were put on board as balast. This particular one is at Wat Po in Bangkok.

Boat Trip

Me and my mate Mike on our way through some of the clongs in Bangkok.

Dodgy

I think this was taken pretty late at night, my eyes are shot. Her name is Lek, quite a nice girl really.

The Hilton

In Hua Hin, where I live, there's a club in the Hilton hotel which is usually makes for a good night out. I seemed to be enjoying myself this particular night!

Hua Hin Beach

This is the beach at the end of my road. At the other end there's a golf course. How lucky am I!

Sunset

This was such a fantastic night, watching the sun go down over the Mekong, whilst drinking Mekong, a whiskey, not the river!

Wonderland

this girl knew how to party. Can't remember her name, but she was good fun.

Wonderland

This is the most bizarre club I've ever been to. Late night clubs, or bars, are illegal in Laos. This place is owned by a member of the Laos government. Dodgy!

Masato

This is a mad Japanese guy called Masato living in Laos. He's been there for years, speak about 6 different languages fluently. Top guy to go partying with.

The Samlo

This was taken in the Samlo Pub in Vientiane, a decent place. the guy in the picture is a good friend of mine, Shane. He was working as an NGO in Laos. He's just been posted to Pakistan, out of the frying pan and into the fire!

What a lucky girl!

This was in funny little karaoke bar in Laos. She couldn't speak a word of English, great!

Laos Street

Mmmmmmh, I think this curb needs replacing! I tell ya, there aren't many street lights in Vientiane so when your walking home at night from the boozer you need to be wary.

Laos Roundabout

This is a roundabout in the suburbs of Vientiane. Laos was a French colony. Quite bizarre really, you can buy baguettes on most street corners.

Looking Back

This was a tiny bar in Vientiane, Laos. I'm looking back at Thailand, over the mighty Mekong river.

Mum & Dad

This was taken at ONE of the party's for my Mum & Dad's 40th anniversary. Don't they look good.

Ooooooh La La!

This isn't Mum!

Toy Boy!

My Mum looks so happy in this pic, that's because my Dad isn't around. This is her new play thing!

Ocean Park

OK, I know this isn't too clear, but, I'm on the left and my friend Grahame is on the right. We're at ocean Park on Hong Kong Island. We're on one of those rides that takes you up real high then you just drop. Grahame's screaming and got his eyes closed. People are looking up and laughing so I'm just letting them all know that he's the one screaming, not me. Talk about embarrassing.

Hong Kong Skyline

My mate Ak, some of you may know him. This was taken near the star ferry terminal, Kowloon, looking over to Hong Kong.

HK Central

This was taken on Hong kong Island, the Central area.

TST

This is a street just off of the famous Nathan road in Kowloon. The area is known as Tsim Sha Tsui and is constantly busy, day and night.

Star Ferry

This is the famous star ferry which connects Kowloon with Hong Kong. Its one of the oldest companies in Hong Kong, and one of the largest now. It operates cruise liners and helicopters, as well as shopping malls.
